Bulls News · Middle School Boys Basketball Runs Table on Championship Saturday

Both boys Middle School basketball teams walked away with the hardware on Saturday at Doral Red Rock. The JV boys squad ran past Quest Academy. This group of young men led by Coach Ben Paulson showed grit and determination all year and improved tremendously through the year. They dominated the second half of the championship game to capture the golden trophy. Great job fellas! Go Bulls!

The Middle School Varsity boys found themselves in a dogfight with Legacy Traditional North Valley. Flustered early, the boys were able to collect themselves and scratch their way to a two point halftime lead. Brandon Palmer II provided the spark on the court, running the show following Elijah Palmer’s technical foul in the first quarter. RJ Tiggs used slashing moves and timely buckets to pace the Bulls. Daniel Nevil dropped a crucial three pointer as North Valley had fought back into the game early in the fourth quarter. Trevon Collier and Michael Aguilar clamped down on the North Valley big men in the paint and Elijah Palmer returned in the fourth quarter to provide some solid defense and clinching free throws as the boys captured the championship.
