Bulls News · Bulls Baseball Splits Double Header on Opening Day

The SLAM! Bulls Baseball team began the season today at the Centennial JV Invitational. Austin Martin went 2-3 with a double and a home run as the Bulls beat the tournament host Centennial Bulldogs 8-3. Smiley Zamora, Jareyn Yamaguchi and Daemein Hargrove also homered to help the cause. Anthony Kopecky went the distance on the mound striking out 7 batters to grab the victory. The bats cooled off in game 2 versus Sierra Vista. Defensive errors and poor base running cost the Bulls as Sierra Vista pushed across two runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to snatch a 4-3 win against the Bulls. The boys will be back on the field to take on Cimarron tomorrow at 3:30pm at Cimarron HS. Come out and support these young men as they begin their 3rd season of play. Go Bulls!
