SLAM! NV Wrestlers dominated the podium at the NIAA 3A Nevada State Championships held at Virgin Valley High School on Friday and Saturday. The SLAM! NV Men’s wrestling team had high expectations heading into this weekend’s Southern Region Championships at Chaparral HS and they did not disappoint. The Bulls walked away with nine region champs, three runners up and 15 total podium finishers to outdistance their Southern 3A competitors while capturing the 3A Southern Region Championship. Bulls Wrestlers stormed through Virgin Valley on Wednesday night, capturing the school’s first program 3A Sunrise divisional championship with a resounding 54-18 victory over the Bulldogs of Virgin Valley. Eight of the ten individual wins were by pin or forfeit. The team will begin preparations for regional championships. Go Bulls!
